I came to visit LA and usually have no issues with rental cars, after my reservations to 3 different places proved to me that overbooking is really a bs excuse. I was suggested to come to sakura and damn, if I were to rent here from now on! Norma, what a great custk.er service skills, peasant to work with and Joe as well. Easy and a breeze to be u stressed and put my mind at ease.
Do wish they had a Sacramento location. So I could have done a drop off. But neither here nor there... this place great cars customer service and easy to work with.. I will be back

This place absolutely saved us on our recent trip! We were going to a wedding down in San Juan Capistrano and originally rented a car with FOX, about half a mile away from Sakura. At FOX, we waited forever in line with our toddler (we woke up at 4 am for our travel too), only to be told we couldn't rent because the name on my credit card was different than my ID since I recently changed my name for marriage. After calling around, Sakura was the only one offering an affordable solution AND no issues with our cards and ID. It was a 7 minute walk down the road, no lines, and no issues. We were out in a few minutes. Never had issues with the car, and return was super easy. They even had a van to take us to the airport. Thank you for your service!!!

We were rejected our rental car at the agency originally booked (FOX) for not having a credit card. The lady there redirected us to Sakura after calling for us to ensure a car there, and SAKURA send someone to pick us up and take us back to the airport when our trip ended. This was a great experience and I highly recommend Sakura!

We were rejected our rental car at the agency originally booked, after an hour of waiting in line in a sub-par facility. The kind lady there redirected us to Sakura after calling for us to ensure a car there. There was no wait at Sakura and the car we got was an excellent replacement for our desired car. The price is cheaper here and mileage is not counted in the daily fee. Will recommend all my friends renting in LAX here!

Not only did it take a while for them to begin talking to us and get things in order (when they had zero in store customers), we had to wait almost twenty minutes after being told our “rental will be here any minute”. The worst part was the fact they stated we could be picked up by a shuttle bus to be transported back to the airport. They eagerly pointed out the bus that’d pick us up and stated that they pull up at this stop ever 15 minutes, which was very much true it showed up right away — HOWEVER the driver clearly stated that SAKURA always tells their customers about this shuttle bus even though they don’t pick up SAKURA customers (they don’t even work together therefore he could get in trouble just for transporting SAKURA customers) so we would have to pay out of pocket $10 each person for his troubles. We are thankful for the shuttle bus driver— but SAKURA is clearly incompetent enough to not figure out their own airport transportation for their own customers and lie that we’d be able to get a free shuttle ride back to the airport.

That’s my experience, the workers there had staring problems on top of that. Overall very lack Lu star and unprofessional— I don’t recommend— I’d give it 1/10 stars if I could simply for lack of principle in regards to straight up lying to their customers.

They take Debit Bank Cards they have lower rates then the Big Brand named rentals, and the cars may be used but only by one or 2 yrs. Or years old. Clean safe and modern. Toyota Corolla was gas economy and full of power, I zipped all throughout my week vacation in style for 1/2 the price of the Big Rental names. I was there on vacation, not to impress the family or public with a rental car! I vacation often in California and recommend Sakura going forward!

Norma, our rep and rental manager, was amazing and professional. She got us into a minivan after a hiccup at another rental lot. Prices were comparable to others at LAX. They’re all expensive but we couldn’t have gotten around without Sukura Rental’s help
