The only car dealer I’ve raved about! We had totaled our 2015 Scion XB and wanted to replace it with another one. Luckily Sammy J had the one we wanted because we felt like family from the beginning of the sales process. They even delivered the car to us in Palm Springs…. For no extra fee! We, of course, had a mechanic do a pre purchase inspection which found a couple very minor things that Sammy J took care of the next day. Sammy J even caught a tiny chip in the windshield that they replaced on their own! Our car showed up in beautiful shape at a great price. I will go out of my way to recommend this company to others and this will be the first place I look when needing a car in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS DEALER: he sold us a car that had basically no brakes left at all and did not warn us.

We purchased a car for my teen at the end of the summer and the dealer sold us a car that had almost no breaks at all (less than 1 mm and 5mm) and that required almost $6000 in repairs (9 different engine codes) within 3 months from purchase, and only 1300 miles driven. The car was NOT sold "AS IS".

While we should have had a mechanic checked it earlier, the implicit warranty of a car is that it would work as expected and it won't need major engine and brake repair so soon after the purchase.

Brakes last for 30,000 miles or more, and I could detect some occasional squeaking as we took home, but we definitively did not expect that amount of damage. There was no disclosure at all.
Obviously he sold us a car with almost no brakes, to be used by a teen: my son could have been seriously hurt!

It also took us almost 3 months to get the permanent plate, and only after we called to remind him we only had 3 days left.

I tried to contact the dealer, but it did not go anywhere and kept denying knowledge, but he never provided a full mechanic report. Also, the car was smogged 7 months and 1400 miles before the car was sold to us. He still charged us for emission tests
