I called him about re-valving and re-springing the somewhat obscure/antiquated suspension from my 2007 Husqvarna TE 250. He happily took the job on and squeezed me into his lineup to get the work done. I had a million questions and he patiently took the time to explain complex terms and concepts in a way that I could understand. Between his expert knowledge, immaculate shop, and kind demeanor, I had the utmost confidence in Rich handling the job.

After I got the forks and shock back, I put the bike back together and took it to him for initial sag and damping setup—a service that's included with the level of suspension work I had him do. Not only did he get the setup just right, but he took the time to look over the bike and make suggestions to further improve the bike's handling and ergonomics.

Santa Cruz is a bit of a hike from Santa Clara, but as a rather meticulous person, it's hard to find trustworthy folks who put the same level of care and attention into their work as I would if I could. The industry needs more folks like Rich.

You can tell just by talking with him that he is truly concerned for the health and well-being of your motorcycle. He has talked me out of cutting some corners and I'm glad he did. His shop is in the back of his house and it's well equipped with pro level tools and lots of small parts and inventory. Surprising to find a legit motorcycle shop tucked away in a Santa Cruz neighborhood. Highly recommend for service and consumables like oil and tires.
