Went to dealer for routine maintenance. Chose to wait. They took my car in to service quite promptly.
There was also a recall and it needed a new battery. It was all covered … no charge! About 2.5 hours.

Greetings, I have a 2007 Ford Focus, with a power steering pump leak I drove the vehicle to Scarsdale Ford for repair, and was told that: the power steering pump needs to be replaced, and would cost: apparently $1,200.00 to repair, with a labor time of 4 plus hours to repair. I was also that the part would not be available until Tuesday, the day after Martin Luther King's holiday. The was first taken to the shop,on Friday. After leaving the repair shop in Scarsdale, the leak has gotten worse. I had no choice, but to find a repair shop on the way back home The car was driven to Freddie's And Henry's Auto repair on Webster Ave off of the Cross Bronx Expressway. Freddy, the mechanic showed where the power steering was leaking If I didn't find this shop, chances are, I could have damaged my engine. I had to take a cab to AutoZone on Jerome Ave to buy the part. The Power Steering pump with reservoir cost me $105.00. I also had to take another cab back to the shop to have the repair completed. I was charged $200.00 for the repair. The repair time was approx: 1 hour and 5 minutes. In closing, no, I would not refer Scarsdale Ford to others for repair service!

So originally in my last review i had given 1 star. i was not satisfied with my experience and felt very frustrated with Scarsdale Ford. Ive decided to give them one more shot and I am very pleased to say, much better job scarsdale ford. After being in touch with the service department for a few months I've finally had enough decent service to adjust my review. Charmaine was a pleasure to work with. Dino is an extremely kind and skilled mechanic who updated me and helped me understand the process of what exactly was being done to my truck. Ralph was also extremely kind and helpful. Most of my issues were taken care of and I am overall happy with the service i received this time around. Good job and thank you to everyone who helped me while receiving service at Scarsdale Ford.
