Shelter Island Inflatables is a family owned business that makes you part of the family. We are new to boating. We purchased our first boat from them and they were very helpful with advise and service when needed. We also purchased a trailer and custom cover from them. We love our Highfield Inflatable! Our son loves to take it out diving and spearfishing. My husband and I take it fishing and enjoy just cruising around the bay. Thanks to everyone at Shelter Island Inflatables.

I recently purchased a new trailer for my 18' RIB, and Matt graciously offered to adjust the bunks and ensure the setup was perfectly tailored to my boat. The level of service provided was exceptional. On a particularly hot San Diego day, Matt worked tirelessly through the afternoon, meticulously fine-tuning every detail until everything was flawless. I have had several opportunities to work with Shelter Island Inflatables, after buying a very used Inflatable in 2015. Ray, is great to work with. I have done a bunch here over the years: 1) Get a new tubeset installed, 2) Buy a new Mercury 50HP, 3) Get new upholstery and new cover, 4) Annual Maintenance, 5) Fix broken stuff.
I do not own a trailer, as our RIB is in our slip full time. These guys are super accommodating and can pick me up from the Shelter Island Boat Ramp, and bring me back to the ramp when service is done.
It really is great having my trusted resource.

Two emails to this company with the no reply. Called and the lady said someone will call me back and no one ever did weeks later. Not sure how people stay in business like this! Oh yeah it's called monopoly...

These guys made buying a RIB really painless. Dan was great in delivering the boat to me and even took my used dinghy to store while helping me sell it on craigslist. I got a great price and Kim in the office was super helpful. I’d definitely go back.

Dan and his team were extremely helpful in helping us decide what type of inflatable and motor we needed. They are super experienced and friendly and didn't make us feel pressured at all. In the end we purchased an ultralight inflatable with an electric motor at a great price and are very happy. Would highly recommend them.

Had a phenomenal experience with my first time down here with my 2019 Williams 435. Ray is a total pro, I had a considerably long laundry list of repair and maintenance items as I use my boat extensively and he noticed some key things that I missed and we were able to get resolved while still under warranty! In fact he had to fight with the factory on a few items. Just honest competent and very detailed...Even though it’s a very long drive for me from LA I will definitely be back next year!
