The work done on my car was half-assed, and I was charged $503 for new rear brakes and rotors plus labor for work that never happened. They literally told me my brakes were replaced when they never bothered to take my tires off.

I came in to get my AC compressor and brakes fixed. After being told the car was done, we could see the shop employees rushing to finish on the car before clocking out for the day. We were the ones who pointed out that they’d forgotten to put back the AC line caps, removed the old vacuum hose and didn’t put a new one in, broke the latch on my hood (which they didn’t admit at first). They also left a rag in the engine bay and forgot to put the engine cover back on. We had to point this all out. The final nail in the coffin was being charged for rear brakes/rotors and labor that never happened, and when we asked for a refund, they tried to squirm their way out by saying they might have replaced the front ones instead (they didn’t).

The only saving grace is that management was apologetic and gave me a refund for the parts and labor that were not completed, and they told me whoever was working on my car would no longer work there . I hope mine was an isolated incident, but wanted to share in case it isn’t. I’ve attached photos of the rotors and pads they told me they fixed, as well the vacuum hose they just unplugged and didn’t replace.

Friendly and fast delivery of my new snow tires. Thank you Jet, the manager, and his team. I discovered that my snow tires from last season was not working well this year. Spoke to Jet on Thursday who ordered the Blizzak tires, and they were there on Friday for installation! Very happy to have this service in Kings Beach and not have to drive far for fast and excellent service. Thanks!!

Rarely do I leave reviews, but their service was so good that I had to. I had a piece of chain link completely puncture my tire on the way back from Palisades, leaving a nasty flat. They were able to patch and mount it in 15 minutes all for a very reasonable price.

Super awesome staff here came to my rescue! I was having a bad weekend and they got the exact tires I needed when I needed them and put them on quick. Great service here and fair prices! Truly being in this remote location it means a lot when they don’t hold you over the barrel when you get the bill. Super up front! Would highly recommend

I was in town from Salt Lake and stopped by because my passengers were complaining the truck was rumbling on the highway. They balanced the tires for just $10 each and made a big improvement. I was really impressed by how Edgar thought through the other possible causes. Got a really good vibe from this place.

I’m new to this area so I was hoping to find an honest place in the area that can give me good advice on what tires to purchase for the winter season and not take advantage of me. I met Jett and his team and they were very knowledgeable and professional. I bought my first set of snow tires from Sierra Tire today during this new winter storm and what a way to test them out! This WAS a great local shop. In recent months I have brought two vehicles there for service. The first one, I was told they couldn’t find the issue, I ended up diagnosing and repairing it on my own at home. They’ve installed directional tires backwards, I’ve had to loan them tools to remove locking lug nuts, was charged for an alignment that was never done, and charged a 60% markup on parts. Lots of other options in N Lake Tahoe to get vehicles repaired. I’ll be going elsewhere and I’d recommend you do the same.

The guys here are awesome. They put my winter tires on in under 30 min. I was planning on going down to Reno to go to one of the big tire corps, but they all said they couldn’t help me for 2-3 weeks, or I could show up and wait for hours and hours and still might not get in.
I asked about getting some new summer wheels and tires and was quoted a super good price.
Super friendly, excellent service, and great prices. Spend your local money in Tahoe and support local businesses, especially since they have better prices than all the big tire corporations down in Reno.
