I rented from Sixt at LAX last May 2024, and it was my first time renting a car in the USA, so I was a bit anxious about the process, fees, and all the details. But I have to say, I had the best experience with them! I rented a BMW Series 4 for 12 days, and it was exactly what I hoped for—clean and in excellent condition. On top of that, the staff at the desk were incredibly friendly. They explained all the fees and insurance options clearly and guided me through the whole process, making me feel comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend Sixt, and I’m renting from them again this April. Can’t wait to collect my car! 🚗

One of the quickest in and out. The shuttles are usually 10 mins out and there are several doing the rounds. Ensure you catch an orange coloured sixt branded one only that can drop you at the pickup location 5 mins away. The service is amazingly smooth

Both Andrew at pickup and Francesco at return were very professional, friendly and accomodating. There was literally no queue at 7PM which I thought was remarkable. I’ve driven the car almost 3000miles in a week and had no problems, it’s in excellent condition.
Just be friendly/respectful and treat the car in a normal manner and you will have a good time, this goes for all car rentals 😉

Great overall experience Jeffrey at the reception was great to deal with, even helped me with my (many) luggage. Would recommend. The only thing that would be good to have is a little better variety of cars.

When I reserved my BMW 4 series convertible I never thought I would be met with such incredible customer service at the desk. Raquel was not only a delight to deal with but she was able to upgrade me to an absolute joy of a car for an unbelievably great price: the BMW M4 competition. She really went above and beyond. Thank you Raquel!! Suffice it to say I had an unforgettable, you might say the ultimate, driving experience during my short stay here in LA. Quincy was great upon return and although I held back tears giving it back one things for sure, SIXT is where I will rent my cars from here on out.

Follow up to this review. You'll see below that customer service "reached out." They are trying to look like they care. They don't. I emailed them all the evidence again. They didn't reply to my email. Don't be fooled by them. Choose another company or be very careful with documenting damage, any of the tiniest damage before using Sixt.

They will try to scam you. I rented a BMW that had several dents in it. It was 100% my fault that I didn't take pictures in the garage and bring an employee over to note the damage. There were SO many dents that I didn't image they would say I did any of them. They accused me of putting a dent in the bumper. I sent them a photo of the damage I took 30 minutes after I picked up the car. They still said it was my fault. Again, I know it was my fault for not taking pictures in the garage, but they knew without question that all of the damage was there before I picked it up. I fell for their scam. Don't fall for their scam Don't rent from them. Or take dozens of pictures and don't leave until every dent and scratch is documented. Buyer beware. Use me as a cautionary tale. Never again.

I had the best experience with SIXT in LAX. When I arrived to the check in desk, it was April that helped me out. She was so kind and warm and pleasantly surprised me with a free upgrade from a BMW 3 series to a 5 series! It was practically brand new and super luxurious. It made my trip so enjoyable and I will never forget. Will definitely be back! Thank you April and keep up the great work!! Customer for life!
