I traveled from Nashville, to Alabama to purchase a 2008 Tahoe, that this place has posted on Facebook. From the pictures it was beautiful, it had these big mud slingers on them, and all of that. The interior wasn’t in the best of shape but ya know, I’ve seen worse. I’m not completely picky but I would want it to run right most of all. We left early one morning, my mom and dad took me out there, when we got there the doors didn’t match, the truck was coated in arm or all or baby oil or something from the outside, the door hinges, and the inside. We talked to the guy about it, my parents had already called and talked to them about it, and they all kept saying it was a “nice” truck. As we start to test drive it, we no sooner than pulled out on the highway, and he had not put spacers on the truck for the mud slingers and they were rubbing every surrounding area in the wheel hub, and because of that we didn’t really get to see the full potential of it driving, there was no check engine light, so we couldn’t run a code reader in that moment and get an accurate code reading. We go back, talk to the man again, my dad tries to get him to come down on the price he won’t budge, but I asked him if I could have a different option as far as tires go.. he put a brand new set of pirelli tires on it, and we went ahead and bought the truck, with the knowledge there was nothing majorly wrong with it, per their words. However, as we hit the interstate, and we get closer to Nashville, a misfire starts creeping in there… other than that, nothing.. I get it home, the next day we take it to the Chevrolet dealership, because it came with a key and no key fob. I get to my parents house, back it in, the radiator busts right in the front of my parents driveway, so we spent all day, replacing a radiator… after we put that in the truck in park, running, is missing, shaking, stuttering… come to find out the fuel inverts are demolished, there’s a whole list of issues in codes, that are gonna cost me more to fix than we paid for the truck. I get you can always buy a bad vehicle, but to come from a different state, keep our word, and come up there with cash… this was for my kids, our transportation… we’re not even a yr into having it and it’s sitting outside broke down, and I’m out of a vehicle, because when greedy people want money, they’re not thinking about the people they’re screwing over have kids and family as well, and not only that I also lost my parents to a motorcycle wreck, hit and run to earn the money to get that vehicle. This man, sold me a lemon, this man lied, and this man, didn’t care that he was putting kids in a vehicle that shouldn’t be advertised as a good running vehicle. I appreciate it man. Now what am I supposed to do!? Now I have a truck sitting outside my place of residency that I can’t afford to fix, that you could have fixed before you sold it. Underneath the steering wheel has been completely re wired and the obd sensor port is in a different spot than what it should be. I have pictures of three separate times since I bought the truck f the codes it has thrown. And my fuel intake is so bad I’m getting maybe five miles to the gallon… I can’t even go up a hill without having to turn the air off, and dang near get out and help push it up it. I’m extremely disgusted, and I do not trust a buy here pay here lot. Hope you and your wife and kids have a decent family vehicle to get around with…. What mad me and my wife and kids any different. And I traveled from a whole different state… and everything. Four and a half hours to get there and four and a half to get back. Now my kids have no way to and from school, does appointments, god forbid an emergency happens… thank extreme motorsports for being extremely disappointing!!!
