The Good:

Massive Selection: This place is packed with a huge variety of racing parts and equipment. If you're looking for it, chances are they have it. It's awesome to be able to see so many items in person before you buy.
Energetic Atmosphere: The store was buzzing with activity. It's clear that Summit Racing is a popular spot for racing enthusiasts in the area. The energy and excitement are contagious.
Overall:

Summit Racing Dallas is a must-visit for any racing fan. The sheer volume of products is impressive, and the lively atmosphere adds to the experience.

Must visit for petrolheads in Dallas. I’ve been shopping Summit online for years, and it has been a fantastic experience to finally see the brick and mortar location on a recent visit to the US. Best to leave your wallet in the car or you’ll go broke 😅

Possibly the coolest store on the planet! I could browse for hours. But recently, I had a Holley 4160 carburetor to fix, and not much time to fix it. Local auto parts stores were useless, but this Summit location had the two parts I needed in stock. I was able to fix the carb by the end of the day. Thank you Summit!

Purchased there house brand shocks in store. Installed by a shop and i was told they were meant for a lifted truck. Which mine is not. Ok no problem. Go back to summit re order the correct ones and go pull the wrong shocks off the trucks. I stood in each line for over a hour waiting.
Finally got the 2nd set of shocks and immediately realized they were wrong again.... Had to return them and stand in line for over 2 hours. The whole process took about 6.5 hours. I was told by the manager to never come back to summit racing in arlington. He was so positive that i was trying to scam them on returning shocks that did not fit, I even offered for them to come out and look at the truck to verify the shocks they sold me DID NOT FIT.

I did express a little frustration as to wrong parts and standing and waiting for half the day for just a set of shocks. So re do the whole process over again and then come to find out the don't sell house brand summit shocks for a 4x4 f250. 3rd time is the charm. I payed for rancho's. They fit great and ride good. The last gentlemen who assisted me knew what he was doing and he apologized for the inconvenience.
The whole process took about 6.5 hours. I will never return to summit racing to buy any parts. Amazon seems to get my parts right every time. So this will be the route i go from here on out.

Depending on who attends to you, you can get great advice on parts for your project. I wish I could remember his name. This parts specialist went thru the entire fuel system for my project and advice on parts that I was going to need. I wish ALL parts guys and gals were this knowledgeable. Great hire Summit. I know you guys probably know who this guy is. Don't let him get away.

Don't order anything important online. Received a completely destroyed package for a $700 floor jack I ordered. They didn't pack it at all and just put in in a cardboard box. The jack showed up and now it's some huge problem to return it. What a PITA.

My husband loves this place. Like a gentleman said, "This is a man's toy store.". You will spend a couple of hours there just waiting in line. It's ridiculous!!! They need a better system or more hands on deck. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure hubby walked out with what he wanted and needed. This store has everything for your vehicle needs!! Go check them out and plan to stay awhile🤣
