At the end of last boating season, we decided it was time to get a new boat. We knew what kind of boat we wanted, but we didn’t know which brand we wanted to go with. We checked out 3 brands, and multiple models under each brand. We decided to go with Nautique and Michael Mandary at Sun Country was super helpful through the whole process. He knew everything about the boats, did two different demos with us, and then spent countless hours with me while I looked at color samples, checked out different boats they had on hand to get ideas, and just gave me time to sit and contemplate. These boats cost a lot of money and it was nice that Michael gave us all the time that we needed, and never tried to rush us. Michael always answered my text messages when questions popped up and let us know where things were at on the factory line while our boat was being built. We had a fun time unwrapping the boat after delivery and getting to see it for the first time. Sun Country then went through and made sure it was all ready to go for us...Michael even personally delivered the boat to our home! Sun Country has been great with their customer service, and we look forward to working with them over the years when our boat needs to be serviced.

Communication is terrible in the service department . Brian and John do not return phone calls or follow up on promises. I had to call every couple of days to find out what was going on because they would not call when they said they would. I brought my boat in for repairs and was not confident in their diagnosis. When I put it back in the water it ran rough just like when I originally brought it in to their shop.
When I called back, I asked if a particular test had been done . I was promised by John he would look into and call back shortly. It’s been several days and he never called back. Unfortunately, that is how it has gone with these people. I’ll be using another company to fix the problem.
UPDATE: I brought my boat to another shop. They called me within 30 minutes of me
dropping it off to tell me they fixed the problem. It had a bad spark plug. Boat runs great now. John wanted to remove the SVT fuel pump and possibly rebuild the fuel injectors. If you really have good service how about refunding me on the troubleshooting portion of my bill.

I have my 18ft Zodiac RIB with 90HP Yamaha motor there for service since 7 years. They are very knowledgeable, committed and timely, yes they needed to raise their hourly but everybody does that, but they are wort it, I had a problem gas starving of the motor and they invested countless hours till they found it. Same with electrical. Brett the owner is class act, he personally gets involved when it is tricky. I have the feeling I can trust him and his company and that is all that matters. Take the time to talk to them on your issues and you will be professionally supported. Parts too and good information / sharing best boaters practice.
