Booked my car directly from Thrifty. Price seemed almost too good to be true. I got a better car than I initially booked for the same price. No line, person at the front desk was friendly. Almost didn't use Thrifty because of the horrible reviews and rating, but glad I did.

I rented a car at the airport that I set up online to drive to my hotel in Anaheim and drop off at the local rental counter the next day. It took over an hour and a half just to get through the line at the airport. Then another hour to get the car. I drove the car to the hotel and we went out to eat. The next morning, I took the car to the local store like I had set up but they were closed. I spent over an hour just trying to get someone on the phone to find out what to do. Then another hour arguing with the rotten dispatcher to come get the car so I wouldn’t have to pay for another day. The dispatcher said they would come get the car, but they never did and the next day the enforcement department called me and said I needed to bring the car back or they would consider it stolen. I told them the story and they pretended to care and that I could straighten it out at the counter Monday morning. When I dropped the car off, they said it would all be taken care of and I would only have to pay for one day, but they charged my credit card for 3 days. Never ever ever use thrifty or any of their sister brands. They are lying cheating crooks. Use Hertz instead, especially in the Anaheim area. They care about their customers, thrifty only cares about money.
