I bought a non-running 2001 Yamaha dirtbike as my first dirtbike and needed an expert to go over it to identify what needed fixing to get it into safe rideable condition because I'm new to the sport and don't want to injure myself on a bike with no history.

I reached out to Paul at Trek Moto and after talking a bit, decided to drop my bike off. He is super knowledgeable about dirtbikes and motorcycles in general. He was able to identify lots of parts on the bike that were aftermarket (my bike is 23 years old at this point and a lot of the parts aren't manufactured anymore and some of those aftermarket companies are out of business).

He started assessing what I needed right away and I got a list of parts needed that same day. He made really good, discerning recommendations for parts that were high quality, yet not exorbitantly expensive, which I appreciated.

After waiting on delivery of parts, he had the bike running like a brand new bike (seriously!), installed all the new parts and also identified which parts I'll need replacing soon. Total turnaround time was less than 2 weeks and most of that time was waiting for delivery. If you have the parts in hand, he can probably turn it around in a matter of days.

He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He communicates every step of the way, with progress updates via text. If you need someone you can trust to work on your vehicles, do not hesitate to go with Trek Moto. I will for sure be a returning customer.

I located a 2012 DRZ 400s with only 1,299 miles that had been stored in a barn up in Santa Rosa for last (7) years. The bike was a rust bucket ( chain, wheels, forks) mostly cosmetic damage. The engine did start but ran rough and needed carb service. I located Trek Moto and was blown away with a straight forward evaluation of bike needs and the service time and price to get this DRZ back on the road. Paul provided me a reasonable/fair quote for service in addition to installing hard parts and electrical (new/updated led headlight and brake lights) and necessary fluid maintenance that included oil and filter service and fork service for leaking fork. All completed at price and timeline as promised. I recommend Trek Moto to anyone before you take your bike to a dealer or a shop where your bike is just another unit waiting in line to even be looked at.
