On February 25, 2025, a vehicle returned to me with a strong odor of burnt marijuana, ash throughout the vehicle, burnt marijuana on the floor, and, most disturbingly, bodily fluids on the passenger window. I immediately reported the cleaning/smoking issue to Turo. On February 26, 2025, Turo responded, stating that my claims did not meet the requirements of their policy. I contacted Turo Support twice to ensure that the documentation I provided would meet the requirements for reimbursement. I was assured that the trip photos were sufficient to charge the guest. Mark from Turo Support even advised me to upload additional photos with daylight, which I did. However, the support I have received from Turo as a host has been disappointing. I would expect Turo to reach out directly to address these issues, especially since there is no way to leave comments on the initial report. As it stands, representatives are left to interpret the photos alone, without any input from the host. I have since followed up with Turo for clarification on why my claims do not meet the requirements for reimbursement. Ima left with an unsanitary vehicle, an expensive cleaning fee, and a vehicle that requires ozone treatment to remove smoke smell, with no financial support from Turo, nor any clear explanation as to why my claims were denied.

Car was great! Perfect for what we needed it for. Made it a lot easier to get in and out of traffic. Tyler was super responsive and everything was as it said it would be. Really great first time experience with Turo and I would book with him again for sure!

The host, Andrew was Super accommodating and his manager was incredibly helpful, informative and kind. The car was gorgeous. We took the top off and drove up the North Shore. Had compliments on the car just about everywhere we stopped! I would HIGHLY recommend renting this Corvette.

Was a great experience for my 1st time renting a car from a owner. Owner was very timely with responding and the car was easy to find. Car was a little dirty on the inside but not enough for me to turn it down. Great experience, I will use Turo again.

The host Robert was great. He explained everything well and made it easy for me. The truck was nice and rode smooth

Oklahoma City - This was my third and final Turo. Horrible little Chevy burned 2 quarts of oil and smoked like a freight train, among other problems. I limped it back to the host. He was going to give me some other POS he just picked up from the junk car auctions in Dallas that still had crayon marks on the back window. I can't believe I allowed myself to get rooked by this shylocker. I called an Uber to the airport to get a real rental, not much more expensive and 1,000% more satisfactory. I know Turo has no control over the fleet, but it wouldn't hurt them to talk to a customer in crisis. It took over an hour to reach some yo-yo in Philippines with a horrible voiceover IP connection, making false promises and no follow up. I would have to say this organization is a totally unprofessional AirBnb wanna-be.

I wasn't sure what to expect, renting a car from an owner but, it was a great experience. All of the paperwork is done digitally and pick-up and drop-off was smooth and easy. I rented an EV for a few days because I am considering a purchase in the near future. What a great way to really test drive a car!
