While I was visiting California, someone hit my Turo rental and parked on it. Despite contacting the police and following the owner’s instructions to document and upload the incident to the app, Turo filed a claim against my personal insurance—even though I purchased their premier protection plan. Months later, they denied responsibility, citing their policy that renters are liable regardless of the purchased protection plan. My insurer explained Turo always pursues renters’ insurance first, making their plans seem misleading. I recommend reading their fine print carefully or avoiding Turo altogether.

So easy and convenient! They dropped off the car at my hotel and picked it up from there too.when you weigh the convenience against multiple U er trips, Turo is only slightly more expensive. Great value!

My trip was spectacular! As usual I consider myself a regular using Turo, thankfully all of my experiences have been pleasant. I also much rather prefer the process of this rather than the traditional rental car companies. Unless you're in a remote area that isn't that developed, Turo is the way to go! I'm appreciative of my most recent host thus enabling me to take this trip. Although, it was for business it was necessary for me to gain some new insight, get re-invigorated, see familiar faces, and help me process unfortunate news. I highly recommend this service to anyone who is in need of getting from point A to B in style and at a reasonable price as well!

They cancelled my rental 2 hours before my trip, and refused to connect me to "resolution" only letting me know I'll "be contacted within 24 hours."

That doesn't help me, I reserved this vehicle weeks ago, very unprofessional, and now I'm losing out on tons of $$ because of a new last minute rental ELSEWHERE

Turo is great! I’ve had awesome experiences with the cars I’ve used. It’s an awesome service to provide and I love it. I’ll continue to use it over renting for sure.

Avoid Turo at ALL costs. They added a $120 "delivery fee" and a $31 "airport fee" that actually doubled the price of my rental. Super shady and excessive fees.
