Good staff at the front when I rented it, and good staff outside when I returned it. Both people were helpful and knowledgeable. The Van drove good too. No problems. Thank you.

I reserved a trailer to move from San Jose to Colorado. I made the reservation on the website and I received a confirmation email which told me the pickup woul dhappen at this Curtner Ave location.

I stopped by the Curtner location to change my appointment by one day, and the worker said that would not be a problem. Then he told me I should pick up the trailer in Hollister, CA on Monday.

I told him that Hollister adds several hours to my day, it is a considerable distance to travel to pick up a trailer and drive BACK. It is pointless, and my email tells me that the pickup location is on Curner anyway.

The worker told me I could ONLY pick up the trailer in Hollister.

I had to cancel my order and now I'm looking for a new trailer to rent two days before I am supposed to leave.

This U-haul location has been dishonest with me and I am being inconvenienced considerably because of it.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT do business with these people.

Never been more disgusted by the customer service and competency of any business. I did a customer pick up and completed as much as possible on my phone. Unfortunately, I still had to interact with the employees and it took 40 minutes just to get a pair of keys I'd already paid for. When I asked about the dolly I had paid for that was not in the truck, they told me they only had one incredibly rusted dolly to use which would damage and stain anything it touched. When I pointed that out I was dismissed incredibly rudely with "then just don't use it". I have still been charged for it and will have to spend even more time disputing the charge. There were 3 employees working but only 1 bothered to help customers leaving a line of 10 people waiting for 15 minutes with no one in the store. What should have been 10 min max took an hour. I've never thought someone should be fired until today. Despicable.

Got uhaul this morning and found homeless poop when I opened it. Please double check your rentals before giving them out to customers please.

Wanted in line 1 hour for a rental. Truck was ready. But only 1 desk worker on a weekend. Truck stunk of cigarettes and urine. Online lied and said unlimited miles for a 4 hour rental. Price was 4x the online rate. Buyer beware. I'll go elsewhere next time.

Extremely rude customer service. They keep the gas on empty and when we notify them they be like you can bring it back on empty. Like who's going to drive around and be sure it's empty before returning it? During the return process, I wasn't sure if they were going to reimburse for the gas and the associate was explaining it to me and the guy who sat next to him, yelled at me and even the associate I was with shouted at his colleague to shut tf up. Extremely disappointed.

Rented a cargo from here. I know U-Haul doesn’t usually pick up calls, but the overall customer experience I had here is decent, thanks to the associate Alejandro. Fast and easy. Thanks!

I had a good experience with a van rental recently. The vehicle I rented (a GMC Express Van) worked well, but did have a burned out taillamp, so the turn signal indicator would flash very quickly. It was hard to fill the tank back to 3/8s--would be better if the vehicle was fully fueled, so I can return it back to full.

The return process was fairly easy. Very helpful for U Haul to allow me to park my personal vehicle on the lot while I used the rental van.
