BE AWARE OF THE $14 DOLLARS THEY CHARGE JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO. Also this gentleman right here likes to mansplain you. He thinks he knows it all. He does not apologize for his mistakes after he mansplain you. I hope he gets better customer training. Because he needs it. The other gentleman who helped us was nice. This guy was not even helping us and decided to put his incorrect change in. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Do not rent a car here.

I rented a truck. The truck had only half a tank of gas when I picked it up, so I returned it with half a tank as well.

The next day, they claimed the gas level was only a quarter and charged me for 7 gallons at $43.75.

When I confronted them, they said I had no evidence and there was nothing they could do. Despite claiming no one else had complained about this, I checked their reviews and found many similar complaints about being cheated on gas.

I suspect this is their business tactic. Do not rent a car here.

Hiring a moving company is a better option.

The experience was fine until I returned the vehicle. When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed the tank was only 13/16 full, which I noted in the notes and upload pictures as proof during the initial inspection process through U-Haul. Before I returned the vehicle, I filled the tank to 14/16 full, which was more than what the car had when I got it earlier that morning. I mentioned this to the store clerk when I returned the vehicle to make sure that I wouldn't be charged for gas. Later that night I was emailed the receipt, and I noticed that I was charged a liter of gas at their rate of $6.26. Not only that, but they charged me for 49 miles of driving, when I calculated the entire route to be 37 miles, at $.89/mile, they charged me for 49 miles driven, which is a overcharge of 12 miles for $10.68 for miles I never drove and $6.25 for gas that I didn't use, for a grand total of $16.93 out of a $135.34 rental (14.3% overcharge!!) I then went on Yelp and Google and saw a plethora of similar complaints for their dishonest and unethical business practices. I came to this place for it's convenient location, but I won't be returning. Avoid it like the plague.

The manager was extremely unprofessional to me when I asked him to remove a $30 hidden fee that they do NOT tell you about upfront. The situation is that I rented a truck that came with exactly 1/4 tank of gas at pick-up (I didn't ask for this, it's just what they gave me). They explained that gas is $6.25 a gallon if I bring it back under 1/4 tank, ok great. I used 2 gallons of gas without refilling, returned it, they charged me $6.25 x2 (no problem), but then they ALSO charged a $30.00 "GAS SERVICE FEE" that they DON'T TELL YOU ABOUT if you return it with less than 1/4 tank of gas!! Meaning that since they gave me the truck with 1/4 tank, I had no option but to fill it up myself without getting charged an extra $30, but BE WARNED they don't tell you this and will just tell you that gas is $6.25!! When I called to cordially explain the situation and have the charge removed since (1) they didn't mention this $30 fee and (2) they gave me a truck with 1/4 of gas to begin with, the manager was extremely rude and combative from the start, told me to "go read the contract you signed, there's a lot of fine print", denied that they hadn't told me about the fee verbally and said "I train my staff so I know exactly what they told you" (which they clearly didn't tell me). That's a ridiculous way to do business and entirely contrary to the way they verbally walk over the key points about the rental when you pick it up -- you walk away thinking you know everything you need to know, but WARNING, you DON'T!

I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the rest of the staff was chill and nice, other than the manager who I'd never want to do business with again.

First of all, I reserved a truck at a location close to my home, in town, for 19.95. There was no truck available when I got there. I had to go all the way across town to rent a truck, which cost me extra on mileage and gas. Not cool! Then, to rent the vehicle, you charged me 106.80 for a 19.95 in town rental. Talking about facility fees are state taxes! So then, when I returned the vehicle, the GM Efrine said he couldn't refund me any money because I should have never been able to rent a truck using my card. WHAT! So here it is 5 days later, and I still haven't received my refund, which is going to be 46 dollars. So a 19.95 in town rental that I used in travel for about 3 miles give or take 1 or 2 because I was forced to rent farther way from my home, cost me 54 dollars! If this doesn't scream false advertisement, I don't know what does! This GM Efrine was sarcastic and condescending towards me, as if I were a moron who didn't understand basic arithmetic. He has absolutely no tolerance in dealing with unsatisfied customers. I wanted an explanation as to why I, for one, couldn't receive my deposit back and two. Why is it costing me more money to rent then stated in the advertisements? He spoke to me as if I was uneducated and attempted to humiliate me.. I would never recommend using uhaul at all. Let's not talk about the storage space I rented, and hours later, upon attempting to move our stuff in, the unit was locked. The office was closed. I had to sit on the phone for over an hour to get someone to move our rental to an unlocked unit. This entire experience was a nightmare.

I got 50 dollars additional charge for gas filling like it was the quarter when I picked it up. But it was empty. Completely. Never gonna use this store again and preventing people from losing their money via scamming.
