Making the reservation was informative. David recommended the appropriate truck for my move. Picking up the truck was somewhat easy. It needed to cleaned out from the previous user. Matthew took care of that. Then, returning the truck was even easier. I want to appreciate and recognize David and Matthew at the Barstow UHaul for making my moving experience a little less traumatic.

I was told the afternoon before moving that they would not have the vehicle trailer available even though it was booked more than a week before and I was told that one would be available at that location! What good is a contract with these people? Now my son will have to take a bus up from San Diego to Barstow to retrieve his vehicle and then drive it back down. A 400 mile waste of time. Not cool.

I reserved this trailer on-line for my son to move. I had to enter credit card information but was not able to use the credit card when he picked up the trailer because the card was not physically there. I am 5,000 miles away from this location. I even spoke to the clerk on the phone and was still not able to charge this trailer. I think that is a big issue the U-Haul needs to address. If it wasn't for this fact, the rating would be higher.

Barstow Location is a nice location with clean well maintained trucks and storage units. Staff all professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the options to choose from. My only suggestion is a broom be kept in the back of the trucks to sweep out truck after use!

I reserved a pickup up truck...they knew my address because its been a month since my last truck rental...but they refused to rent it..because I don't live in Barstow...lol so we drove 30 miles to apple valley where they are normal...and realize that Lucerne Valley is not that far away..rented it with no problem...they'll get 5 stars
