Came in to rent a moving truck and found they had a large selection on hand and trailers as well. After reading the reviews about this place, I was a little unsure of what to expect but the service I received was excellent. Of course, most of the negative reviews are in regards to getting propane refills. As far as my experience goes, the guy who helped me was very friendly, efficient and did a great job of handling multiple customers all at the same time and still managed to get me set up and on the road in minutes. I should note that the main lobby was filled with all kind of moving boxes, blankets, packing materials and even a wide array of trailer hitches and if in the future I ever need any of it, I will be sure to come back to this UHaul again. Now, the reason for holding off on a full 5 stars is because the truck I got was filthy. Not on the inside mind you but it looked like it just showed up after driving hours in the dirt and snow. And really, this wouldn't be such a big deal except for the fact that the windows were a mess and near impossible to see out of while driving into the setting sun as I left the facility. I literally had to pull over and try and make a clean spot before continuing on my way.

Scammers, make sure you take pictures of your truck. If you don't, they will claim you damaged your vehicle when all you did was drive off and load it in an open area. I do not recommend this U-Haul. If your reservation lands, you should cancel it and go to the other location near Jackson’s gas station. I've never run into this issue with those guys. The college location is honest. I should've just canceled my reservation and gone with them, but I was willing to give this location a shot and never again.

WARNING SCAMMERS

Went in with my girlfriend yesterday to rent a U Haul van just to walk into terrible customer service and an unprofessional conversation between Ed, ed and Eddie behind the counter. That conversation they were having led them to not mentioning ANYTHING about a text message to verify a couple of things on the van. They didn’t even walk me to the Van or do a walk throughout with us before leaving. Just said he’s your keys. Cars over there. I declined the insurance because I was only going to be gone for 30 mins and not even drive it 12 miles. When i get back they tell me there’s a dent on the van and they are going to have to charge me for it. After doing my own investigation I notice someone posted a picture of the exact same van with the exact same license number with the EXACT same dent from 2 WEEKS ago. After showing this evidence to them they went ahead and still charged me for the dent anyways.

What they are doing is using the same van and blaming people for the SAME small dent on the same vehicle. The guy who did the inspection knew Exactly where to go for the dent and didn’t check anything else on the van. It’s an easy scam they are getting away with and we’re not the first ones they have done this too. I reached out to someone who also left a similar review and he said they did the EXACT same thing to him.

I WOULD NEVER go back to this place and advise anyone else to do the same.

The staff here was extremely helpful today. I really appreciate their patience and working with last minute request. Speedy checkout service as well. This is a very busy location, but they'll help you with what you need.

Nice place. I haven't been to a Uhaul that has a - drive up lane to have your rental inspected - drop off service before. I should have taken a picture. Nothing fancy, but in comparison to the :normal" Uhaul return it seemed to make things more fun. (Well as much fun as moving can get.) Great, easy peasy, drop off. No issues or hiccups from start to finish. Honest, friendly and helpful. All together a pleasant experience.

Horrible experience. The mobile app wouldn't work the morning I picked up the Uhaul. I spent 30 min on hold only to get hung up on. The mobile app help was Not helpful! I was almost an hour late getting the truck, while stressing in the parking lot. I was told different information from every employee the weeks leading up to the rental. I didn't have room for error as I was helping a family member, and all I got was error. The contract also said it was a 40 gallon tank, so I ended up adding more gas than I needed to pay for because it was a 30 gallon tank- they wouldn't refund me the extra gallons i put in because of there clerical error. Then they over charged me by $55 for extra days ( I had the truck for 12 hrs) & said I was refunded, but wasn't! So I'll be back at the office again today to get my refund fixed. Extremely frustrating experience. I will never use this Uhaul ever again for any reason! Employees obviously need more training and better leadership. And the mobile app is crap!

My gf and I were stressed as it is and as soon as we're arrived the worker with blonde hair opened My girls door and said what are you doing if your returning the van it has to be parked here he never said where so she parked it and he was very aggressive about everything she then gave him the keys in the manner he opened her door. Then he said we had damage on the van, there was no indication of how it was there we asked them several questions of how old was the photo and the van they couldn't tell us. They said in our text messages which I never got we were supposed to take pictures. Thank God for a worker named Charles his customer friendliness was absolutely appreciated saying we should get a refund for the damage it was already in the old photo. Charles made this experience and day so much better with his customer service. I don't know what was wrong with his co worker but he shouldn't have been taking it out on us. Overall if I could pick the person to inspect the van with and get helped service Charles would be the guy to go to.

I was going through some tough times and had a bunch of stuff I needed to move. This was by far the easiest & least stressful part of that challenge. Renting the truck online was a breeze, and picking up the truck was quicker than I thought it would be. The owner & staff were super nice and explained everything very well! The truck itself was awesome, well maintained & didnt give me any issues at all. Overall, I had an great experience and will definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to rent a U-Haul.
