The truck was given to me with zero fuel. They told me to bring it back with 1/4 tank. So I did just that and spent $91 on gas even though I only drove the truck 13 miles.
I asked the receptionist repeatedly that I should get the money back for the gas, and asked if she needed my receipts, and she brushed me off and said the system will give me the refund automatically.
I then got my receipt and saw that I was only refunded $57… despite paying $90 for the gas and using mileage to go fill it up for them.
Very disappointed that UHaul would give me the truck below Empty and then stiff me on the refund.i use Uhaul a lot for home projects but will not use them again.

The staff and customer service is amazing at Grimmer. I only rent from that location because of the staff! The equipment has always been in top shape as well-- but the vibe amongst the team there is so helpful. I got 15' truck. It was at 109 thousand miles. Truck was downshifting when I take my foot off of the gas pedal when I was going downhill, which is cool. But it was having hard time getting back to higher gear when I put my foot back on the pedal. It was very uncomfortable drive as most of my drive was uphill then downhill highway. I was trying to manage the highway speed at the gear that is two gear lower than the supposed one, with an engine that is running at 5k RPM.
