I ddnt like anything about my truck rental experience at all!!!! I reserved a truck in advanced,they never called me 24hrs before reservation.they call me the day of changed my location for pick up to further away from where I wanted it,than for drop off I couldn't drop it off where I wanted to where it was closer to drop off to save the miles and gas..they gave me few extra miles to cover it but that ddnt help all the gas I had to waste because of them switching pick up an drop off!! Uhaul is a mess even if u reserve yr truck ahead of time it's crazy..

I got a 26ft moving van from Modesto CA. It broke down in Arizona, left me, my husband, two children and two dogs on the side of the highway for 12 hours. When we finally got a tow to the nearest uhaul in Arizona, they offered movers to move my items into a new truck. After over 16 hours of no sleep, my husband and I got a hotel for our children to sleep. Pushing our move date out to reach our destination. The second truck we had, kept smoking from the breaks. Called the mechanic and he said it had something to do with the hubs and it was still safe to drive. Again, delaying us to reach our destination on time because now we’re taking extra precautions due to feeling unsafe in the vehicle. Uhaul only reimbursed me $500 for an inconvenience fee, we paid almost $6k for this move. I would never recommend Uhaul for help for anyone. Customer service is great but their corporate level is of no help at all. Not to mention all my furniture that was moved from the movers , is now broken and I’m still waiting to hear from their insurance company.

The morning crew was fantastic! They were friendly, talkative, and willing to help. Picking up the truck was a breeze, thanks to their great attitude and professionalism. Kudos to them for starting my day off right!

Afternoon Crew: 🌟 (1/5)
Returning the truck, however, was a different story. The afternoon crew, particularly a 20-30 something gentleman with a beard, and his co-worker, really need to step up their game. Communication was poor, to say the least. The bearded man gave confusing hand directions without any verbal instructions or a hint of a smile. He didn't come up to me or the customer before me to provide clear guidance.

When it came to the final steps of the return process, I had to ask his co-worker about receiving my receipt and if there was anything else I needed to do. This information should be proactively communicated to customers, especially when it's not clearly posted.

Conclusion:
The afternoon crew could learn a lot from the morning team about communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy. It's disappointing to see such a stark contrast in service quality within the same day. U-Haul, please invest in training your staff to ensure a consistent and pleasant experience for all your customers.

Try to stay away from this uhaul. Girl that works there extremely rude and a liar. Cost me 201.00 for a trailer that I couldn't even hook up.. I asked her could I rent it and come back and pick it up she said no. Showed her my tailgate down with horse feed in it and she says she can hook it up with the bed down. After 20 mins of her trying she said it's won't work u need to drop off the stuff somewhere else and come back. Lol ARE U SERIOUS? I just asked you that. I had to cancel everything and now need to find a new trailer to rent.

Danielle was awesome on pickup. They were SO slammed but by the time I arrived she had everything ready to rock and even greeted me by name as I arrived on the lot.
An absolute smooth transaction in every way. Easy, good value and cool people. Go UHaul!

Always love working with this uhual store. Always my go to store for supplies and vehicles. Staff is always friendly and they always take care of me. Today the systems were down and they worked extremely hard to get me in and out as quickly as possible. I appreciate them so much for what they do. So thank you!

Very poor customer service. I had a reservation placed on 10-5-18 for 10-7-18 at 8:00am mobile check out. I did not receive a call 10-6-18 to confirm reservation from local Uhaul. We arrive to pick up our van at 8:00am and the reservation wasn't processed. The mobile app tells you to call a 24/7 number that has a non local 707 area code. I called it, rang a few times, then went to voicemail where I left a message. I still haven't received a call back. We go home and return after 9:00am because that’s when local office opens to figure out what's going on with our reservation. Braden admitted that he forgot to process it yesterday. I asked for the $50 reservation guarantee before accepting the van they had in the yard. Jasmine said she couldn't give it to me right then because her manager was off today. She told me she would call her manager and work it out before I returned the van. Fast forward to returning the van and Braden said he couldn't honor the $50 reservation guarantee because Jasmine used the existing reservation that he didn't process. He said the manager had not returned Jasmine's call. He said he couldn't give me the $50 credit and I would have to return on Monday to speak to the manager Danielle to receive it. I already had extra trips to that location today and did not want to return another time. I told him no that I would call the number on the wall next to the vice president's name Chris for West Sacramento. The lady on the phone was awesome and what I expected the customer service to be like at my local store. I explained to her what the problem was and she figured it out issuing a $50 credit to my card. Braden couldn't believe it and asked how she did it. I suggested to him that next time he should call that number and ask for assistance if he can't figure out how to issue a credit for the reservation guarantee. I suspect that the manager was not called at all and they were trying to cover up their mistake. My spouse and I have rented from this location several times, but never again.
