I recently visited the U-Haul location at Sunnymead Moreno Valley, Ca and overall had a positive experience with Meagan. The store itself was clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus when dealing with moving. Meagan

One of the standout aspects of my visit was the excellent customer service provided by the staff. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Kudos to them for their professionalism and courtesy.

However, there were a couple of areas that could be improved upon. Firstly, the parking situation was less than ideal. The area was limited and somewhat confusing, making it difficult to find a spot.

Additionally, staffing seemed to be a bit understaffed for the volume of customers. With only two employees available for check-in during a busy morning, the wait time was around 20-30min. Having more staff on hand during peak hours could help streamline the process and reduce wait times for customers.

Overall, while I was impressed with the customer service and the cleanliness of the store, addressing the parking situation and staffing levels would greatly enhance the overall experience for customers. I would still recommend this location, but improvements in these areas would make it even better.

Everything went smoothly, it was my first time using uhaul, everyone was polite. I used a 15 size , it was pretty spacious.

The drop off process was atrocious, no one to check the vehicle in. I had to go request someone at which point it took an additional ten minutes to have someone take the return. The app is the worst part of the entire experience, terrible interface, the camera function was glitchy and provided blurry pictures even though the camera was fine. I’ll strap my items to my back and run down the freeway before I rent a truck here again.

I reserved/booked everything through the app I got quoted for $140 dollars on the app for a pick up truck and an auto hauler including the estimated mileage I was going to travel. Upon arrival to the actual U-Haul store I was told my total was $199 dollars and the U-Haul representative wasn’t able to honor the original quote from the app. It would be nice if the app showed the actual amount that you will be paying in person. Other than that pick up and drop off was quick and easy.

I originally scheduled for 7 AM on a Sunday, and there was no notification that the facility did not open until 9 AM. I went there at 7 AM to pick up the truck, tried to use the app to check in, but was not. When I returned at 8:55, there were four people ahead of me in line. I did not leave the facility until 1030. When I checked with the attendant about the lack of furniture blankets, and the second dolly, he told me I did not have it on my paperwork. However, when I did everything on the app as instructed by the individual at the counter, I was charged for the missing items which the gentleman told me I did not have on my order. The truck interior was not clean, as there were leaves, flowers and dirt from the previous individual having moved plants. Definitely not one of the most positive experiences renting from UHaul.

Update, I received a phone call and apology from the UHaul location, indicating that my experience was not how they do business. That apology is very much appreciated! I updated from 2 to 3 stars.

The fact that JD is still employed by this establishment is ridiculous. I went there for a quote and he quoted me a ridiculous price of $1,300. I thought it was extremely high so I went online and I got exactly what I needed for $500. When I went back and asked about it he was upset and very dismissive and acted as I wouldn’t get my U-Haul truck from there if I payed online. He also told me it has to go through a whole long process if I payed online and I might not get it on time. NOT TRUE I payed online and got my truck in 10 min. I don’t know how after all these reviews on him he’s still there, he must be the owners son cause there’s no way. Pay online don’t ask him any questions pay for your truck and let him know what you payed for and need. Avoid talking about any money with him.

I made a reservation online for an available cargo van as well as storage unit. After the attendant was rude, she just said that the system always do that. Letting book when they are booked already. I had to leave due to the bad customer service in that location, to cancel by Uhaul customer service phone#. They canceled both of my reservations but I had to contact them two more times because they weren't refunding my money, not until the third week.

When I arrived Saturday morning at 9:45am to pick up a 26 foot U-Haul Truck, there was a substantial amount of customers waiting in line with only 1 customer service representative working. She was amazing running between two separate desks to keep the line moving despite the continuous influx of customers. She treats her work with great attention to detail and is very consistent because this is the second time I have seen her on a Saturday morning taking care of what seems the entire business by herself. She is clearly a key employee. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her for my own business.
