Everyone who helped me was awesome! Everyone was respectful and friendly, from the guy who was working the counter to the guy who helped me retrieve my rental vehicle. I would definitely come here again! The next time I am looking for storage I will be checking this place out. It is super close to the bart station so it's very convenient too.

Absolutely Ridiculous Fuel Charges!

I rented a truck from this U-Haul location and only drove 25 miles, yet they charged me $72 for 12 gallons of gas—as if the truck somehow got 2 MPG! This is a blatant rip-off. The fuel gauge barely moved, but they still tacked on an outrageous fuel charge, plus a $30 fuel service fee.

On top of that, the overall customer service experience was underwhelming. No transparency about the fees, and when I questioned the charge, I was met with indifference. Renting from U-Haul should not come with hidden fees that gouge customers.

I will never rent from this location again and would strongly advise others to double-check their receipts before leaving. Absolute scam.

The facility was clean and clutter free. Even though I was there before the office opened the staff was helpful and answered all the questions i had. Each employee i interacted with was polite and informative. The facility itself was well lit and has modern security features. Very Impressed..

Calvin, Loran, and Bryanna provide Excellent service! These are really good people. It actually makes me a little sad that it was time to move my stuff out. The experiences I had here talking with staff, and using the safe clean facility, made for a very cool introduction to Oakland. Thank you for making me feel welcome, and valued. I can't think of anything that needs improvement. The organization of this facility is very impressive. Calvin runs a tight ship, and I enjoyed coming here every time!
