Nov/24/2024 when we went to pick a uhaul truck, all the customer parking were full, we had a reservation to pick up a truck, the uhaul parking were almost all empty, we temporarily parked there , a gentleman said to move my car out of there , he could say that nicely, but he was very rude. We were two people, one of us went to get the uhaul, I went to move my car from there , to get out of their parking I had to make a u turn in there parking, that rude gentleman drove behind me like a police chasing a criminal, people like him bring bad names to big business, I believe that big businesses should consider the soft skills of employees being hired.
Thought he was cleaning some returned cars, but that doesn’t mean he had to be disrespectful.
This was very unfortunate to see him there

U haul Concord jeopardize my (62) and my 92 yr old mother's lives by renting us a truck that should have been shot dead a long time ago. In addition to engine and tire issues, the steering wheel locked while I was driving the truck. My Mother and I saw our lives flash before our eyes as I jerked the wheel back and forth and Mama screamed JESUS!
We are both traumatized. I went to urgent care, saw my Chiro , had 2 massages
and talked to my PCP and therapist. I'm livid that the GM & President haven't reached out to us. I have statements from employees that the trucks aren't serviced regularly.

Upon arrival, my partner and I were approached by a man who was not wearing any attire associated with the company or a name tag and demanded the keys to the rental vehicle. This was unlike anything we ever seen before at any U-Haul location so we told him we would feel more comfortable turning the keys over to the front desk inside the store instead. The man then followed us into the store and became obnoxiously irate to the point where both my partner and I feared for our safety. The front door then intervened and verified he is an employee. The store really needs to stress the importance of wearing professional attire while working. That could’ve easily avoided any confusion and conflict. Some customer service training would go a long way as well.

Reserved and paid online. Walked immediately up to the counter without a wait. Drop off was painless as well. Liked to upload photos of the truck and mileage. Much better than in years past.

I know this place gets a bad wrap and I get it … sometimes the line is long. But sometimes it isn’t. It comes in waves, and that’s hard to predict and staff for.

What I do know is Kathleen is incredible and she makes every visit a pleasant one. I rent a truck at least a few times a month and she’s absolutely awesome. She is patient, polite, calm and just so peaceful. Not to mention, she is very thorough and never misses a detail.

Anthony, the manager, is also a really great guy. He is very accommodating and is juggling everything as best he can.

Thank U Haul Concord. You’re all just trying your best and I appreciate that.

I had an amazing experience at this location. I rented a Uhaul this past week for a move and was very happy with my experience. I wanted to give a shout out to Brodee who went above and beyond to help with our truck rental and gave us excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back to this location for future rentals or any of my moving needs

The Concord U-Haul on Monument Boulevard is a fine tuned machine. Everybody always goes out of their way to help me since I’m there once a week with my small business needs. Brody, the GM is extraordinary. Everyone on the staff is so friendly and professional. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and every time I’m there, I feel like I’m the most important customer they ever had. Lol great team!
