Booking online was smooth. I booked the truck for 72 hrs and 276 Miles.
When we went for checkout
1. They changed my booking to 24 hrs, unacceptable but was okay for my situation.
2. They provided with 1/4 filled gas and expect the same level when returned which is not practical, I returned with 1/2 filled. They simply enjoyed that. If it was less, they would change $6/gallon. They should provide with full tank to be more accurate.
3. At return, they were telling me I drove 216 Mile more because the booking was for 30 Mile, so frustrating but they fixed it later

This location on Jackson Street in Hayward is my go-to location & they've never let me down. Staff is always friendly & efficient. This time tho I got a van that had barely enough gas in it to get to the gas station & was filthy inside & out. That's the only reason for less than 5 stars. They did give me a bit of credit back on the final cost for turning it back in w/almost a half tank tho. I will still use them again.

Customer service was EXCELLENT. Izzy was very thorough on the explanation of the contract and made it easy to understand. She guided me to a complete walk around of the vehicle to make sure there was no unreported damage. The move went very smooth and returning the vehicle was painless. Thank you Uhaul and Thank you to Izzy.

The experience here was terrible. I was 15 mins early for my reservation. They did not have the vehicle I was promised. Very poor attitude from the staff. "Saul" and "Juan". If that is their real names. I wouldn't know they did not have name badges on and with the level of service I wouldn't be surprised if they were just straight up lying. Anyway, his justification for not having the vehicle I was promised was, " he cant control if the customers return the vehicles on time". I would suggest not overbooking where you would have that issue. Sounds like this place has terrible managers and training. Go to Penske, its more expensive but WAY better overall!!!!

The service was quick and efficient. However the first truck we were assigned to had low pressure in the left rear. Luckily I quickly got assigned a new truck. The other truck we got reeked of cigarettes and had food on the floor, chips and a ranch dressing packet which I stepped on and got everywhere. This show me that that they don’t check their cars for cleanliness or maintenance. The AC also fell off.

We had issues with the connection to the trailer and the staff member went out of his way to resolve the issue when he could have easily told us to fix the issue ourselves. Excellent experience and definitely will use this location again. Thank you so much for helping us out.

I'm officially done using uhaul the worst service. If I was able to give no stars I would. First when I went to pick up the uhaul no one was wearing mask, seems to me they didn't get the memo of covid 19. Second the guy only gave me 2 options to either drop off truck "down the street" or keep truck another 2 days. My contract was to leave it at same location I picked it up at. Third truck was dirty didn't even bother to clean it. It felt like some just dropped it off and handed to me. They can not say they cleaned it still had dolly and the pads in there. I didn't request none of that. Fourth when I went to go drop it off the place the guy said that was "down the street" which was a lie and they still charged me the miles. Fifth I wasn't able to check out truck because my phone did not recognize the location that I was in. Waste of my time. I have been trying to get a hold of management and still no luck. Here are some pictures the man in the picture is the one who helped us with no mask. If I had another option that day to leave truck I would of but I got it because I needed it. There was also a big gab on the driver side it felt like the door was going to open on the freeway.
