After my reservation was confirmed and too late to look for an alternative in OC, I was forced to take a taxi to an inconveniently located facility which was locked and dark and then wait for the operator to arrive 20 minutes after my appointment time. I then had to drive to another inconveniently located facility to get the trailer. All on my time and my fuel. I strongly suspect that the process is much more about keeping utilization high for them than customer service or convenience.
The drop-off process in Rancho Cordova was easy.

15/10 stars !! 🌟 Helpful was an understatement. Our initial encounter with U-Haul was less than satisfactory, considering somebody stole our truck due to the negligence of the partnering company and us having to go 11+ miles down the road to get an additional U-Haul truck on such short notice right before close just hoping that we would make it .. but leave it to Tristan and Sharon to have saved the day. The hospitable feeling we received upon immediate arrival couldn’t be topped, I wish they could accept tips. U-Haul is lucky to have people like them in their corporation, you need to rent a truck you might as well take yourself all the way to Rancho Cordova . SHARON & TRISTAN will make it all worth while Coming from North Highlands. 😀

She was extremely sweet, nice, helpful & gracious among her customer service (Although the Mather field location is closer their services And respect is well below average) I would rather come the extra mile to this location, because of the top tear service! Great customer service! Due to an error on the associates part I had to turn around and come back to the office. She was apologetic and gave me a discount. That's how you treat customers. I will be back for future rentals.

The General Manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. His worker helped us hook up the new trailer and directed us to the other trailer so that we can move our stuff over.

Employee was least helpful forgot to put dollys and rugs causing delays in moving. I booked the truck in advance near Natomas but was sent to Rancho Cordova 20 miles away very inconvenient.
