We have used U-Save multiple times and have only had positive experiences. The staff was very friendly and helpful; it was a pleasure to work with Herbert at the desk and the van driver was very friendly and helpful, as well. We highly recommend U-Save, and the cost to rent a vehicle through them was really exceptional.
At LAX, rental car companies are located off-site, requiring you to take a shuttle to reach their facilities outside of the airport. Be sure to allow extra time to get back to the airport when returning a car (at least 45-60 minutes extra), as they often have other customers to pick up and drop off. Again, we were highly satisfied with our experience renting a car with U-Save at LAX.

Less than 1 star I want to give.
Basically the price you see online is not the price you’re going to pay. It’s at least 4 times more.

The deposit is not coming back after weeks. It still not in my account. I call them, they tell me to wait til next Tuesday, I call them again on next Thursday, they just said “we are busy at the moment” and hung up my phone! Literally hang up… and my credit card still has that $500 to be paid which is annoying.

Plus, they like to play double side, first you ask a person if it charges on xxx they’ll say no, and the manager will say you’ll have to pay for xxx. Or they’ll tell you that you have to clean the car otherwise you’ll get charged but then the checker comes in and tells you you’re good to go. So gross.

They have amazing cars, and they are so cool people, very professional especially Mr Tee. This gentleman was the kindest in the whole world; he always helped me with everything!

My pregnant wife and I were in California for a 12 hour lay over. We decided to explore Santa Monica, and proceeded to U-Save Car & Truck Rental. They provided shuttle service to and from the airport (which is a nice benefit not offered at all airport car rental companies).

Herbert, the front desk representative, was attentive to our needs, extremely knowledgeable about the area, and helpful in selecting the right car for us. The lines were short, the customer service was phenomenal, and the price was reasonable.

Overall, we had a great experience with the people here. I highly recommend it if you are in need of a car rental in Los Angeles.

This is the only place I rent cars from, the staff goes above and beyond to help your process of renting a car go as smooth as possible. Friendly,polite, and helpful!! All the cars are clean with that new car smell, easy in and out pick up and drop off. I love U Save!! See you soon

Better than I thought, they are actually better than most main brands rental car agents. I booked for busy Christmas , U save came out with reasonable quote and flexibility cancel option. I was bit concerned due to never rent from them. We took LAX shuttle to remote car rental depot then shuttle came with only took us to U save facility, staff are friendly and honor prices we were quoted . Car condition was also good , when we returned car , the shuttle took us directly back to terminals. I am satisfied with U-Save experience. Recommend
