We were originally looking for a boat under ten thousand dollars. I emailed a broker of a boat I searched on the internet with no response. (then again a $7500 boat does have a good commission.) Vaughn was great and sat with me while we looked at craigslist boats which was my suggestion. He was positive and said he would refer surveyors and anything else I need if I just take him sailing. His professionalism and product knowledge blew me away. Well after researching what can
I say....Buy something under ten with constant upgrading and maintaining?..no. Vaughn found me a beautiful Catalina 320 the day he arrived back from vacation and we went through the motions. Now it ended up being much more money and Vaughn wanted to make sure I was not over my head breaking piggy banks. He found me three beautiful slips in Marina Del Rey to choose from before my offer was finalized. It is nice to be able to talk with a yacht broker with so much passion and followthrough. We cannot say enough great things about this company.

My wife and I were new boaters. After speaking with a couple of other yacht dealers we decided to work with Vaughn and feel things could not have gone better. Vaughn took his time educating us on different boats and what we should be looking for and what we should be staying away from as new boaters. After about 5 months of looking we found a boat and could not be happier with the purchase. After closing, Vaughn has stayed with us through training along with introducing us to quality vendors / trades. We would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a non BS broker who has his clients best interests at heart.

I met Vaughn a few years ago while earning my scuba certificate. He's a real solid, trustworthy guy, so I hired him to help me find a boat. He showed me many, but we found the perfect boat in Santa Barbara. He arranged the sea trials, surveys and negotiated a great deal. Plus he was able to get the boat delivered from Santa Barbara to Redondo, making it easy for me while I was away on a trip. I liked other boats, but he pointed out various reasons to look elsewhere. The boats we didn't buy are more important than the boat we eventually bought.

Great business. I had a much larger budget and Vaughn found me a great buy at a much lower price allowing me to budget upgrades. A fifty thousand dollar difference is quite the commission loss I would imagine. Vaughn made it easy for me to get the bottom painted and even delivered my boat from Dana Point to Marina Del Rey at no charge. Two months later now the whole family is happy. Thank you.
