Some of the most polite and kind people you will ever meet. I brought in a group of 7 and we were in and out in no time. Everyone assisting was really attentive and accommodating as we had a lot of first time skiers/snowboarders who didn't really know how the boots would fit. Overall I'm super appreciative of the hospitality and would recommend that you rent with these folks. Much appreciated VSL!

This is not a local ski shop that just has convenient ski stuff. This is a local ski shop with employees who know every thing there is to know about fitting you for your gear. Justin did an incredible job fitting my daughter for boots. Taking so much time to make sure every part was adjusted to fit her just right.

Best (not-so) little ski shop in the Tahoe basin! Come here for rentals, tuning or retail. Worth the drive even if you’re over in Northstar area or even further west.

Rental gear is good quality, well-maintained and fitted and 1/2 price of resorts. Demo selection is solid too.

Overall the vibe is of a real skiers destination, not a place to soak tourists—knowledgeable staff, huge inventory and selection crammed in to a small space. Salespeople know their stuff (in a recent trip pointed my daughter towards a specific brand of helmet based on her head shape, for example—she loves the helmet now)

Ski tuning shop and repairs has never disapppointed me either, with good prices and fast turnaround.

Super nice staff and very efficient. It only took 15 minutes for my wife and I to get fully fitted for snowboards with bindings and be heading towards the slopes. Highly recommend!

Another great experience with VSL. I rented a mountain bike from them five years ago and had a great experience, so I used them again on my return trip to Incline Village. I had the Santa Cruz Hightower this time around and couldn't have been more happy with the amazing bike. Everyone at the shop was friendly and helpful, and one of the mechanics went out of his way to let me test ride a few other bikes while I was waiting on my ride to pick me up afterward. Highly recommend Village Ski Loft!
