Great experience renting a nearly new Toyota Camry. Pick up and check in were smooth, and the agent reminded me to use my own travel insurance saving me from extra costs. Low young driver fees were a big plus and no hidden charges. deposit was returned without any issues. Highly recommend!

Terrible first (and last) experience with Yesaway. Be careful not to fall foul of their crazy rule (at Phuket International Airport) that you need to provide a physical driving license from whatever jurisdiction you have a license. Digital proof not accepted. And when I and my partner showed up oblivious to this fact (yes, we failed to read the small print on the booking conditions) there was no negotiation, no reasoning, and no empathy shown by the member of staff (Khun Mook) who dealt with us. All very matter-of-fact and unhelpful. It seems that all other hire companies in the airport terminal don't have this nonsensical condition. Upshot is that we lost our total pre-paid hire charge. No debate on the matter. Never again.

Excellent experience renting with yesaway. I went with the cheapest possible car for 7 days through third party wisecars. And I was a little worried about some of the poor reviews. I had none of these troubles.
Email communication was clear and they even texted me to clarify things. They provided a private shuttle to pick me up to and from airport. Car was brand new and ran perfectly. Deposit was refunded. Staff was kind and courteous.

They barely speak english. This is Chinese company. They do not have shuttle buses, thus you get on regular city bus and they pick you up from there. Ok. On a drop off i asked if they could drop me at hotel by the LAX they said “sure”. When i dropped the car they said no, we drop at LAX only. I used to Uber. Decent company. I also have not seen my final bill. Hopefully no surprises. Next time i’d get car from major company. It was good as experiment.

This was by far the best car renting experience I've had, and I travel quite a bit. Pick up was quick and easy, the staff were friendly, and the return was quick. I appreciated the employees checking the car with me - really shows how transparent they are.

Also, I dread renting a car as I'm still under 25 - those underaged fees can easily double the cost of the rental. However, the fees here were the lowest (roughly 1/3 of what they are everywhere else) I've ever seen so as a full time student, I REALLY appreciated that.

Next time I'm in LA, I'm absolutely using YesAway again! Thanks y'all 🙂

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! I am so disappointed in this supposed company for many reasons . I was traveling as a solo female and had booked the rental car on the Hopper app as a "mystery deal" which I have had success in the past doing but I had to pay right then and there on the app. When I got to the airport I called the number on the confirmation because it was off site . I was directed to a company called "Priceless" and the man on the phone said he had NOT heard of Yesaway and acted like he didn't know what I was talking about . Then he proceeded to tell me that if I told him my location then a car would come pick me up and he would put a sticker on the car marked as "Yesaway" . I called back and checked the number repeatedly because it didn't make sense. It was the same number every time. I found this extremely suspicious and told airport security about this . The security said this was not normal and so I called back and said I didn't feel comfortable. I had to pay hundreds of dollars to get a last minute rental car . I called Yesaway and spoke to a Gary and he said he understood my complaint and would get me a refund for my troubles. Then he never called back and I can't get through to speak to anyone about a refund . I have never had such a terrible experience and would never recommend this awful company .

The WORST rental company. I booked a car from YESAWAY through a third party and purchased full coverage insurance. When I arrived at the counter, they told me that the coverage was only for collision and that I needed 500K liability insurance. My personal policy only had 300K coverage so I was forced to pay an additional $40/day. The cost of the two insurance policies was TWICE the amount of the rental. AVOID this rip off company!!!!

I was contacted by the company, and they did give me a refund for the unnecessary insurance coverage.
